Change of Registrant

Sometimes it is necessary to change the registrant of a domain name. This article serves as information about how this process works.

AU Domains

The Change of Registrant process happens when the Eligibility criteria must change. e.g. You change ABN numbers or company names. This is common when a domain is transferred between a buyer and a seller, or if you change business structure.

To do this, please email us your new ABN and we'll initiate this for you. Note that this is sometimes rejected if the change isn't obvious and we may need more information from you as detailed in Manual Change of Registrant

Change of Registrant costs $39.95 and also renews your domain for a year from that date.

COM Domains

You can change the registrant details on a com/org/net domain via My SixFive > Domains > Update Contact Details

You may need to confirm the change via email confirmation.

Note that UK Transfers cost £10 / AUD$20 + GST.
